Hey guys,

I'm having some problems intergrating my Foscam IP camera into my network. Router is located in my lounge, connecting wirelessly to my PC in the study and Notebook...um... anywhere. So, I got myself a IP camera that has to be intergrated into this network so that the camera stream can be accessed. I am however having issues getting it intergrated... Eventually, I would like to add DynDNS to the equasion in order to view the video stream everywhere I go via the internet.

For some reason, regardless of what I change, the IP Camera Tool does not find the camera on the network. When I take a direct cable from the camera to my PC I am able to view and change settings, but as soon as I attempt to use it through the router, I have no luck...

Is there any generic settings I should be looking at? The manual seems to think that it's plug & play, but I beg to differ... This is my first home network, and up to now everything has gone perfectly... But the IP cam has got me by the short & curlies...

Thanks!

Hmmm, did you change the IP address of the IP Cam to match the IP address range on your home network?

E.g. If router and PC is something like 192.168.0.x with netmask 255.255.255.0, the IP cam should have the same settings.
