Ok so for the past week i have been struggling my a** off trying to resolve the issue... (NEED HELP)

I cant download anything through p2p connection (U*o*r*e*n) lets just say i am downloading legal files throuh torrents, my connection speed is 200 Kb/s (2Mbit/s) and torrents download at 0.1 to 5 KB/s.... and every now and again my xbox live connection will drop and cant connect....

I hav tried the following: *Port forwarded
*Uninstalled Kaspersky/ windows defender and windows firewall switched off also allowed it
*changed my ip address
*reseted router
*re installed windows (to see if there was a problem with network configration)
*switched ethernet cables......

Please for the love of God HELP ME!!!!! Telkom just says there is nothing wrong with there lines..... :wtf:

Thanks for the reply...
thing is my friend that lives 2 blocks away gets his full 100 KB/s speed on torrents...
how come he is'nt affected ?

Seems its something that is getting sorted out systematically. I know my neighbor has been complaining the past week about not being able to do anything.

Told me this afternoon things were back at full throttle. Getting 100 to 120kb on his 1M line on all downloads incl. torrents. This was during normal working hours today so does not seem like Telkom is shaping things as so many mention on here.

We have received the same information from other users as well. Not certain if it is Telkom Internet torrent shaping, or maybe something else. We will try to get more information about this.

Thank you for the reply please let me know when you can find something out

Are you blaming Telkom as the provider of your ADSL line, or are you blaming Telkom Internet as the provider of your data account?
