Free iBurst bandwidth after midnight

I was hitting about 5GB a night, that projected me to well over 100GB. Problem comes in is that there is nothing worth downloading anymore... oh well :P

How did you manage that? Theoretically iBurst only allows you to download about 3.6GB after hours, and that's if you maintain a constant speed of 1Mbps.

How does the bubble spesial work? it says anytime uncapped, but then also uncapped and unshapped between 12am and 8am... (on there website)
Does this mean that you'll get 128kb during the day and full speed between 12am and 8pm?

Thats alot of downloading..... If I am right well looking at about 4.608GB per day.. on a 30 day month we look at 135GB for R349... (16h x 128kbps)+(8hx1024mbps)

NOT BAD AT ALL!! R2.58 per GB!!

But that again.... if im right.....

Yeah, you got it about right.

He uses 2 modems.

Yip, and all my downloads are 100% legal, so no torrents etc.

I bought Dragon Age and it's expansion last night on steam, looks to be over 30GB download :| Luckly they are separate downloads (at about 15GB each), hopefully I'll get that in before month end!

Ad not very clear. Is it the 64K or 128K Anytime Uncapped that comes with the Bubbles special?

Both 64kbps & 128kbps VAS allows you to download free from midnight to 08h00 at full speed.

Just want to get it straight...

No VAS added to account = No Free Midnight-to-Morning? Even when still within cap...

See page 44 http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?223728-Free-iBurst-bandwidth-after-midnight/page44, VAS and Wireless 15 = free, on some other packages you get 20%-80% usage free.
The VAS was kept simple by integrating Midnight to Morning into the Uncapped Anytime and still maintaining the same price. ...
We also realized some people don't want to buy the VAS so we have made free bandwidth available as a standard feature. If you only use Midnight to morning you can:
- on a Wireless 2 download an extra 2GB for free
- on a Wireless 5 download an extra 20GB for free
- on a Wireless 8 download an extra 56GB for free
- on a Wireless 15 you can go ape...

The ad says:

Which speed Anytime Uncapped is included in the R348?

First observation:
Companies will always show the cheapest possible option, so assume 64K line.

Final observation:
Because it's a combo special, we can assume that the cost is reduced if you add these two options together as separate
149 + 199 (64K option) = 348 : Same price?
149 + 249 (128K) = 398 : More expensive than special

Conclusion:
By the looks of it should be 128K line, or else it's a not even a special :P

But realistically, looks like it's the 64K option

I would have thought the upload speed would bee slower than that. Not bad though, try doing another one closer to lunch time. Next month, if you do the test at 6am, if *should* go at full speed.

Any idea where I can see info on the latest pricing and package costs on the their site? I'm specifically looking for where the After hours free* bandwidth is included and stated what packages and how it's included?

*-Free or % usage deducted
