Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

Trying to remote into work server with netextender and I keep dropping like mad. So frustrating.
 
Hard down here in Cape Town this morning, with the lines being on and off the whole time yesterday, although it felt like DNS issues. My ISP told me that they were having similar issues over in PE, so ... How is all the frotfoot peeps doing this weekend?

Fairly stable on my end. One of the better weekends tbh.

No, don't be too hasty! The FNO hasn't even had the chance to pass the buck to the ISP. And to be fair, neither has the ISP had the opportunity to point fingers back at the FNO. Patience, my friend.
 
FF/Mweb feeling a bit sluggish today, I actually switched to Rain as my primary because the experience seems to be better
 
There must have been a dip last night as I see Netwatch saw an outage at 21:15. It didn't trigger my failover though so it must have been for a few seconds only

How is Frogfoot in PE these days?

Looking to replace my sad, sad VDSL connection. Openserve won't install fiber without clear line of sight from their pole to my house, and I don't feel like clearing the forest in between the two right now.
 
I would cut down every tree on our premises if I could get Openserve to replace Frogfoot. (Your nearby neighbour from George who typically shares the same Frogfoot instability)

Frogfoot actually went down here a few minutes ago. Just another day with them
 
Been pretty solid. I actually can't remember the last time I went down for more than 5 minutes. I do however have Openserve as an option now so definitely wont hesitate to switch if FF starts to become a problem again.
 
Anyone have issues? Went down 15min ago and now backup, but much not working; like unable to ping Google, but Facebook pings, but an atrocious 170ms.

Same.

Since we went back to Stage 6 loadshitting things have been bad in the evenings.
