Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

Back online (just after 8pm) but now latencies are 40ms to Cape Town.

Seems like we are being shuffled between various NLDs, latency today went from 11ms - 24ms (after 1st outage) - 40ms (after 2nd outage).

Looks like my internet died shortly after 22:20 last night. I sort of expected it to run up until midnight so I was scratching my head a little wondering what was wrong. Currently no throughput as expected, and my router is reporting the WAN port as inactive.

Now to play the waiting game and hope the switch to the new ISP goes well later today

which isp?

Applied for fiber on Tuesday and got approved by my ISP last night. They said they are sending my details to Frogfoot for them to contact me so as to schedule an installation date. The email said this could take 4 to 6 weeks :crying:
Is there any way to speed up this process?

Unfortunately no, but my order was confirmed by Afrihost on 04/09 and I was online by 16/09 so shouldn't have to wait too long.

Something stuffed with pings to CT ... here we go again frogfoot.

Just after 9pm my CT latencies returned to around 11/12ms, you guys see the same?

Anyone else monitoring their latency after the PE - George break ?

Mine went to 40+ then down to 20 where it has stayed.

Normal for me is 11-12.

I cannot accept they say "resolved" and your latency doubles.

@Frogfoot Fibre why is your network so poor ?
