Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

Hi Guys

My mom's connection is via Frogfoot, she just messaged me and asked me to check if there is an issue as her connection seems to be down ( Vodacom Fibre over FF), anyone know if there is currently a general issue in PE area ( Lorraine to be exact ). I saw that there is maintenance planned for this evening at 11, but it would obviously not have an impact now.

Yes a friend of mine has been offline since 10pm last night .

So I am able to see a WD MyCloud on my (wider) network by typing in a certain class C network address that I don't use within my network (I use class A).

The thing is, I don't own a WD MyCloud:oops:. Scary stuff.

It's because the FNO's generally don't implement client isolation or MAC forced forwarding - which is just madness if you an FNO (think broadcast storms,etc)

So if you plug a device directly into the ONT, instead of going through a router first the device is visible on the ISP VLAN as if it was on your LAN :coffee:
