I see some regions have received the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Wifi version of this tablet already.

Just received 4.4.2 for my wi-fi model.

I also have the Wifi version and bought it in Europe, but no update is available to me. It seems that some people are complaining that Kitkat is causing the tablet to heat up excessively.

Just caught this thread now, I have the original case and ordering the tempered glass screen protector, if anyone needs pics I can post.

Top 5 uses for this tab :

1. Google Play Books : GPB allows sideloading of pdf's, I uploaded some tech an other magazines (T3, Stuff, Wired, Popular mechanics, FHM, Esquire) the screen makes for an awesome eReader
2. Real Racing : If you into racing this freemiuim game is lots of fun and will really test this tab graphics
3. Plex : All my series and movies when I need them, anywhere anytime. Love this app.
4. Ingress : If you play this game you will know the value of a huge screen
5. Telegram : I swapped out Whatsapp for Telegram, having my group chats on the tab while my phone charges is quite cool

Okay, so I'm looking for an app that works something like MS Outlook. Can anybody give me ideas?

Outlook.com from the Play store. The stock email app works similar to outlook with mutiple email accounts.

Tried using the stock e-mail app but it doesn't save older messages. I only use 1 mail account so I'm not stressed about that feature. More worried about being able to sort and access older mail in folders.

The Gmail app does this. I have my mail sorted into folders which are easily accesible from within the app.

Have not noticed any heating up.

I have the USA wifi model, and it is running really smoothly on 4.4.2

Hey all,

New owner here (SM-P605). Was disappointed to find that there was no KitKat update available yet when I got home. Hopefully it won't be long though, considering the Wifi and Verizon models (same SOC) have already received 4.4.

In any event, the biggest downer for me was the lack of multi-user support. I was banking on this being there so that my wife and I could share the tablet.

Fortunately, if you're rooted, there's a way. See below:
