Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 availability ?

128 GB cards work, they're not *officially* supported as they didn't exist for testing when the specs were released.

*just realised I'm walking around with more than a tenth of a terabyte in a device that I didn't think I'd ever have need for just two years ago*

Finally decided to do the Kitkat upgrade myself as Samsung SA are so useless WRT updates. Really shocking how they have forgotten about this top of the line tablet.
Anyway I downloaded the firmware that was released to Switzerland and so far so good. Upgrade was a breeze and the tablet feels a lot more responsive and "fresh". Finally have the different user accounts set up on the tablet which I wanted from the beginning. Other countries have had this functionality for over a year... and we still dont have it.

In more positive news at least Samsungs warranty is good. My tablet died after a 2 meter fall. There was no noticeable damage so I tried my luck and it was repaired with no questions asked. ADH??

I'm now tired of waiting for an update. Going the Odin route.

P601. Which version should I go with? I'm thinking of using the Trinidad and Tobago version.

Is the Switzerland firmware unbranded? Did you do a factory reset?

No, ADH doesn't cover the Note 10.1. They probably thought it was a factory fault and just fixed it for you.

Does anyone else have the screen flickering problem? I've really started to regret this purchase as it locks up regularly and the UI stutters so much. Should have rather got the ipad and dealt with iTunes.

Unbranded yes, just came with a few additional apps but they uninstalled without hassle. Very happy with it.

No flickering here, do you perhaps a cover with a magnetic lid? I've heard that those can cause problems with the magnetic sensor which turns the screen off when you close it.

Very occasional flickering. Only happens once in a while when playing Clash of Clans. It's a P601 running Jelly Bean.

Has happened to my p601 before. Was random, and couldnt point out the culprit, reflashed it with another region firmware and all was well...

After 11 months with this tab, I feel that it can do a lot more than the iPad can, but overall the iPad cannot be beaten (by this or any other Android tab). It comes down to how well the tablet is supported, and Samsung seem to release so many tabs that they don't always get around to fixing many issues, where as with an Apple product its almost always trouble free. This is for the average user who just wants to use a tablet for its intended purpose ie browsing and apps. I do much more with it so android will always be the tablet I will go for... Was hoping the nexus 9 would have changed my view, but that tablet seems like a mess up from many reviews...still waiting for the proper iPad competitor

I had the problem, and then the screen went completely out of resolution
In the end had to remove the back cover and reseat the lcd cable, very easy process
The note 10.1 has a reputation for the cable coming loose

mine has done the screen flickering thing once or twice, but thats it.
Running pretty solid on 4.4.2.
Had to do a factory reset to kill some annoying issues with youtube and the playstore apps.
They would simply open and never load any content. I'd be stuck with a blank white page or it wouldn't sign in to my google account.
Since the reset, it seems good.
Waiting on Lollipop :)

Tired of waiting for the MTN upgrade for P605. Can anyone recommend a good website where I can download official kitkat?
