My Galaxy Note 8 battery is giving me issues. I understand that it won't perform so well as it ages, but what's irritating me is that sometimes, when it gets down to below 40%-ish, it suddenly plummets down to 0 in minutes. Is this a well-known issue? Would it be worth replacing the battery (as opposed to taking the plunge and getting a new phone) and if so, is there anything I should look out for in terms of brands to avoid? Would any basic mobile repair shop be able to replace the battery?

just replace batttery should resolve but try get original.

You got 10k discount on s22 if you bought it last month by handing in your note 8

I know.... but I was out the country for the past couple of months.... is the offer still on?
How do I ensure I'm buying an original?

Cellucity I think still takes note 8 as trade-in.

Original best replace at Samsung store
