said like the man that did not get a PS3 for his birthday. i did, and it lekker,

stream anything from my pc via wifi to PS3, full HD movies, music, tv series.

some times it boring to sit behind a pc and play, this way you sit on soft chair, and play .
 
umm .. RPM (or whoever wrote the article) ! All xbox models released after the xenon launch models have HDMI and not just the pro's and elites as the article states, and you get a free month of xbox live gold not live silver.

I'm sorry but that article has way too many mistakes. All xbox 360's now ship with HDMI ports. 40 gig PS3's were never backwards compatible... the list goes on.

Really poor writing!
 
Jip XBox and Wii lost this generation, PS3 will rule them all this year, already happening in Japan and with Sony throwing their weight around at long last (i.e. Ghostbusters is the latest example) PS3 can only grow this year.
 
I have all 3 and must say that the Playstation outdoes the Wii and Xbox on almost everything,and the video quality when streaming from Tversity on the PS3 blows the Xbox out of the water. So if you have the little extra cash spare PS3 over Xbox anyday.

Name one? I've have a launch ps3 and have plenty games and not one required an internet update before i could play it!

That being said developers still seem to favour it over the PS3 in terms of downloadable content. A perfect example is the recent Fallout 3 DLC which was released exclusively for Xbox 360 and PC.

of course the developers favour the xbox 360, microsoft pays for the exclusive DLC. which isn't a bad thing for xbox users. but it doesnt mean the developers are favouring the xbox in terms of DLC. take unreal tournament 3 for example - they released an update for pc and ps3 only. they also limited the x360 version of the game because of microsoft's strict and unnessecary download limitations.

yawn... its arguably a really boring and overdone article. I have all three consoles. I play as well as my nephews who are here everyday. The console that gets the most time is the Wii (The kids). Next up is the Xbox 360 and last is the PS3.

If average joe asks me what console to buy, I tell them get the Xbox. Console exclusives are becoming a thing of the past. Their favourite Fifa and Need for speed will be on Xbox and be cheaper. So they're happy.

For a Gamer on the other hand, I ask what games they want to play, are they going to play online etc. Most gamers will be more than happy with the XBox over the PS3.
 
pointless article really, I own all 3 and they all have their merits.

Xbox - Awesome gaming console, brilliant online

PS3 - Rules as a media player but lacks good titles not so great online experience

Wii - a bit of fun in low doses

Incorrect. You get a month of free Xbox Live Gold, and get downgraded to Silver (which is, and always has been free).

This Author cannot get his facts straight, so how can I believe what he is telling me about the PS3?
