And using Xbox Live being better than PS3 online is pretty pointless, because we live in SA and have a small cap!

It's apparently quite important to some people. 3Gb is presumably adequate for gaming, but no doubt as with those who play World of Warcraft the online play is important enough that they'll spend more on bandwidth if that's what it takes.

Xbox owners should get over the fact that they have an Xbox and their friends have a PS3 and their mommy wont but them a PS3!

Thank goodness. I'd really prefer my mummy didn't butt me with a PS3.

I have all but a PS3, and I would definately have to say I prefer the Xbox! IMHO.

Wii, is too much like hard work and the PS3 is over priced.

You definitely still cannot beat the Arcade and standard versions on features for the price, but since the massive price increase on the Xbox 360 that is essentially no longer true of the Elite. It's certainly powerful enough to be seriously considered, but there are features of the PS3 that make it the more tempting choice.

Agreed, although the price increases have affected the PS3 and Wii just as much as the Xbox, still making it the front runner for gamers on a budget.

My reasoning is, if I am going to spend so much on gaming, I would rather continue upgrading my pc rather than buy a console.

Agreed the PS3 has 1 or 2 nice features, but for the difference in price, they do not warrant the costing

I have all 3 and must say that the Playstation outdoes the Wii and Xbox on almost everything,and the video quality when streaming from Tversity on the PS3 blows the Xbox out of the water. So if you have the little extra cash spare PS3 over Xbox anyday.

+1. sold mine a week ago.
Features aside, the 360 has poop exclusives, which means i don;t have a use for it. PS3 gets all the brilliant multiplatform titles, plus the outstanding exclusives it's producing.

For the price of a graphics card? C'mon. A PC is way more expensive.
