Gearbest "Priority Shipping" discontinued

Hi guys

Anyone else noticed that the priority shipping option isn't available anymore on Gearbest orders, regardless of the item or warehouse? I tried contacting Gearbest and they said it's probably a temporary issue, however it's been more than a week and seems unlikely.

That would be a major drawback since standard shipping takes about 3 months (if the order even arrives) and expedited shipping is too expensive to even be an option.

I always used Gearbest for this inbetween shipping option but right now, it doesn't seem to be any better than AliExpress and others...
 
Ja, I mentioned it in a few threads, also noticed it. They'll loose some costomers, for sure. Some will move over to another place.
Think it was @RedViking that suggested : https://www.sunsky-online.com/ I see theyhave Aramex, anyone bought from them yet? (other than RV?)

I was going to order a cellphone from them, but will give sunsky a try!

I do hope this is temporary. Otherwise gearbest is dead to me. I've got smaller items which have been with with post office since May. Not making that mistake again.

Well if that's true then yes they will loose my business,Geekbuying/Aliexpress actually had some better deals but I used gearbest because of priority shipping,nothing worse than waiting for crap to come through our useless international mail centre.
 
Well seeing as though I had to pay R1400 tax on a phone I bought from them 2 weeks ago for around R3600, I suspect something changed...

Was there at least a complimentary jar of vaseline included? My duties with via dhl was about R300 when I got my phone.
 
I just received my last Gearbest order from Aramex today so this happened very very recently.... :oops:

Well I guess Aliexpress to Aramex Global Shopper HK location then R199 Aramex to ZA is the only option.

SunSky basically only offers the Aramex option to their stock in HK as far as I could see and it's a whopping ~R250 from what I saw.

Even when Gearbest sourced their items from CN they always sent it from Aramex HK which probably means they they were doing exactly as I suggested. "Import" from CN to HK and then Aramex it out from HK.
