Other than the dynamic range and resoution, the 5D IV probably has better and faster auto focus as well. I have the original 6D, and the slow focussing speed is a definite hindrance for me when the subject is moving.
It's still better than my previous camera though, and I wouldn't have paid the difference for the 5D III anyway.

Coming from a 70D I'm sure the upgraded AF system will already be a massive improvement for me whichever way I go.
But I have to say even with the 70D I had very little missed action shots due to focusing issues. I guess it helps quite a bit that I mostly use F2.8 L glass in front of it.
What I did however find, especially with our recent camping trips, was that the 70D struggled quite a bit during very low light shots. Experienced plenty of hunting and inaccurate focusing when it did eventually decide on a subject.
