Getting my Omnia tomorrow...FINALLY!

As the title says tomorrows my big day, after waiting for months...okay it was something like 4-5 weeks I went to the mtn shop today and I was told that they just received a whole batch of them and I will get mine tomorrow!:)
After waiting so long for the phone I almost cant believe il have it less than 24 hours.

Just thaught id share this incase Im not the only sucker whos had to wait this long for an Omnia.
 
Its Sunday and stil havent heard from mtn shop:(
Starting to lose my patience now. Youd swear i asked them for a bloody Touch HD!ffs its an omnia!
 
Waiting for mine since Thursday - apparently everything is ok but for the sim card that needs to show on the MTN network. This has been the status since Saturday. :mad:
 
I think the problem is with incompetent people at the mtnshop i went to(Blue Route). I gave them a piece of my mind today and will be going to a different shop tomorrow. At this point im not sure if I will still be going for the omnia...i made that decision 5 weeks ago. So im actually back to looking for a new phone again! any suggestions piesang?;)
 
Just got my Omnia - the touch screen thingy is going to take some getting used to! But so far very impressive.

Can't believe so many people had issues getting their Omnia's. I walked into the nearest MTN branch on the Friday, signed up for the contract and had my phone by the next Tuesday. :cool:

I cant explain it....maybe its down to the staff working at the particular mtnsp.
Anyways I went to a different shop today and they look like they actually know what their doing. Promised me I will have it within 7 working days, and she even gave me her. business card So now I'm on two waiting lists.
They tried to give me the N96 but I read too many bad reviews of that phone, bad battery, cheap plastic like somebody mentioned n this thread. The only phone they actually have in their shop is the HTC Touch Diamonds.

The Omnia is the best phone that I can afford, unfortunately the AWESOME X1 s out of my price range:mad:
Guess I should have studied IT:o
 
i got my omnia about two weeks ago... waited a week and a half for it. so not too bad ...
