Brave had the slight potential in the early days as a wholly unique, albeit skinned Electron browser with good features in mind, but now it's just a cash-grabbing, crypto-punting, privacy-intrusive Chromium skin. There's nothing vanilla Chromium + uBlock Origin + uMatrix + HTTPS Everywhere can't do what Brave does slyly, nor does it have anything exciting to offer like Vivaldi and Edge push these days so it's easily one of the worst.

Ah - you now have me worried as its my daily driver and easily the fastest browser in my neck of the woods. Yes its based on BAT etc but once you switch all those off - set momentum as start page - you wont see the crypto stuff at all. Plus on Mac it opens up sites faster than all others I have tried.

Oh alright, as long as it drives better for you with that stuff off that's good, just holding thumbs that they don't do anything super nasty in the future
