That would explain the timeouts I'm getting then! :D

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I'm disappointed at their lack of timing...

I didn't have to do anything other than click download - no prompt to download or run etc. Must be because I have Google Desktop/Gears installed cause looks like it uses the Google Update.exe app that they use. Pretty neat. Using it to type this post. Really clean interface and really fast. I like it a lot. Now if only I could find some extensions for it. Reckon Firefox still has that going for it!

Sad thing that it doesn't take on the OS theme.

Update: Gmail, as can be expected, is lightning fast once loaded. Javascript actions take no time at all. I'm going to stress test against other JS-heavy sites before commenting further though.

"So far" it seems pretty nice :) i like it.
Simplicity of Opera with hint of Mozilla technologies :D

Ok, it's fast. It's really really fast. Tried with Gmail and Yahoo! mail.
The clean look is awesome too.

The reason why I'll carry on using Firefox, however, is because of the zoom feature. IE's zoom is slow, is not saved per website and resizing adds a horizontal scrollbar. Chrome's zoom feature only resizes text and some layouts - images remain the same size and some layouts are not resized.

Firefox's zoom feature is perfect and I've been addicted to it since the release of Firefox 3.

Edit: Hah! I like the Incognito Window of Chrome :D

LOL!!!!

Warning! The site you typed is www.gmail.com, but the site redirected itself to mail.google.com. This site is probably a scam trying to hijack your browser!

LMAO... google doesn't recognise its own site! :D

You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
  • Websites that collect or share information about you
  • Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
  • Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
  • Surveillance by secret agents
  • People standing behind you

Okay, I'll be careful of those secret agents. :)

This browser is so quick. It is fantastic
