Google Nexus 5

Anyone noticed that the phone takes much longer to recharge? Or is it just mine...

On lollipop? It is a bit erratic. From a fresh boot it charges like always, but then sometimes later it charges a bit slow.

EDIT: Mostly it charges fine though

Hey, guys, I'm considering getting this phone. Where did most of you get it? I saw an add on OLX for R3000, but it seems a little too cheap to be real.

Not sure if this in any other threads but does anyone use Google Wallet in SA? Is it even possible?

Doubt it
i installed it but its not usable afaik

On the phone it is mostly used for NFC payments. You need merchants who support it (none that I know of in SA). Even in the US it isn't very successful (ApplePay is newer and has better support from most merchants).

We have NFC credit cards that work at pay points, it must work.

I actually messed around with it, even registered my card on the Google site but when I add the account to the phone it does a check and denies it. Was wondering if there was a way around this check.

Dunnit... What improvements should I look out for?

Shucks my Nexus 5 is stuck on the boot screen (the swirling dots)... I cleared the cache this morning (using Recovery), rebooted and now I'm stuck here. Been this way for about an hour already.

What do I do?

EDIT: So apparently I didn't wait long enough for the flash to format - it takes minutes (not seconds like a lot of other phones/guides say). Supposed to give me a notification when it was done but I just rebooted after a couple of minutes.

Crap.

According to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/help/help-nexus-5-bricked-clearing-cache-t2564509

... I should download the stock image and than flash the cache.img file from it. Downloading now, then I'll do that.

(Basically if I go into recovery and try and clear the cache partition again, I get "failed to mount /cache")
