Great news – Petrol price expected to decrease

Meanwhile on Facebook, people are thanking the ANC and Cyril for this. The intelligence of the general votes base is astounding.

With the European demand for Diesel going up I would assume the world wide price would also go up. So if the demand for diesel goes up more than the demand for petrol, diesel price would go up more.

I assume this is what he meant, or that's how I read his post anyway.
Well yeah, that's an assumption. Unless we import our diesel or export it to Europe it shouldn't have an effect. We import oil yet petrol varies but diesel just keeps climbing lately. I say there's something else going on as well.

Any surprise really when you can bribe them with KFC and a t-shirt? Why Africa is truly farked and people already abandoned it thousands of years ago.

100% sure you know that was deliberate exaggeration. Large increase, minute decease, large increase. etc
The pattern is very clear.
Well it has been the pattern of the Rand.

But... I thought it was the ANCs fault? Also: do we move back from Perth now? I are confuse...

You thought right . Diesel goes up by another 30c a litre??? How long time until retail stores follow suit?

The official price of Wednesday been confirmed yet?

Then some petrol stations jumped the gun on my side, wonder if they've corrected it :)

Yip, good lord, I know one guy who bought a brand new Toyota Prado just after we hit R17/liter. The thing has a total fuel tank capacity of 150L ... that's over R2500 to fill up!?!?!?!?!!?!?!

I'm already in the R1000+ bracket this year for my Z. Tank + reserve goes up to 77 litres. Usually don't chance it and fill up around 70 litres at a time. Good thing I only fill up once in two months these days.

Also another reason not to buy property in this country. It's great to be flexible and stay close to wherever one works. Savings on fuel per month are massive. I have guys in my team who live just 20km away (40km round trip per day) are spending R2k+ per month just on petrol to get to the office and back.

I fill 68L diesel, once every 5 days... Over R 1000 already and that at a reduced price of R 15.69
