Process Explorer: Free and awesome task manager
MobaXterm: Tabbed SSH Client. Need I say more. Has a free version
flawlesswidescreen: For playing most old games at 1080p
Dropbox: FYI put your "documents" folder on dropbox to sync documents, saved games and settings between pc's.
VLC: It plays anything and is portable so it works on the work's pc as well.

I also use Scanner, some freeware by Steffen Gerlach, a tool that uses a sunburst chart to display the usage of your hard disk or other media. The nice thing is that it shows all the major files and folders from all directory levels at the same time, allowing me to find what is eating space on e.g. smaller SSD systems.
