We are pleased to announce that Greencom will be offering Layer3 broadband and home automation services in Dainfern Country and Golf Estate shortly , Link Africa have already commenced with the Layer1 fibre installation and Frogfoot Networks are 'lighting' the fibre Layer2 .

This picture was taken outside Dainfern Valley shopping centre Broadacres Drive , its Link Africa splicing a dome joint for the feed for Dainfern Golf Estate, so we should be seeing the 1st connections shortly .

Hi Paul

I am currently using Greencom as my service provider in Sunninghill. I moved houses and put in a request for a relocation on 25th Aug. I have had absolutely no joy in getting a response from your team. There is a BD team lady who has been trying to get info for me from your admin team but even she does not have any updates. Is it that difficult for someone from Greencom to provide a TAT for services? I have a 3 month contract and I paid for Sept last week. So I should be getting uninterrupted service. I have written to you as well but see no response till now. Clearly not the type of customer service that one would expect from you guys.

A typical problem with the FTTH players these days they focus too much on sales and there is zero focus on support/service delivery

I stay in Sunninghill and my 25Mbs connection with Greencom / Metrofibre was lit up last week.

Getting 24.xxxMbs on speedtests and pretty consistent sub-200ms pings to EU World of Warcraft servers. Bliss.

I salute you.

"Metro Fibre and Greencom will be commencing with the installation of fibre at Monte Vista from Monday 1st of August till the 13th of August 2016."

A month after the original finish date and still no service, despite being on the "Priority List" because I was one of the first to sign up.
Imagine how long the rest of the complex is going to wait!
Thanks Greencom, I was the idiot, telling everyone in the complex: Get Fibre then you don't have to deal with Telkom anymore. Now I would rather deal with Telkom, their service is better!
And I need to explain to everyone why I said: "Move to Greencom, you will be alot better off"...

You are not alone on this issue they all tend to focus on sales and none choose to focus on support/service delivery

Morning Usurper
Please PM me your details and I will see what the delay is. Monte Vista is going live right now and we have commenced with activations so I will follow up on the delay on your connection.
Thanks
Paul

Not happy at all with the service so far. My complex has finally gone live after delays of over a month. Unfortunately, my unit is still not live as they cannot seem to get the fibre up and running. Communication and feedback from the Greencom team is well below expectation.

@Greencom what exactly is happening with the roll out at Lavender Lane in Paulshof? I always talk to Craig who says Mike will call me and it's always happening the week after I make the call...

Could we please get an update as it's becoming frustrating.

The network is up **** creek again. This didn't just start today, either. It's an ongoing problem. I understand it's a MFN issue. You guys have said that they're scheduled to fix it on Tuesday night. My question is, why wait until Tuesday to try and sort it out? Why not start yesterday?
