Hi Paul. Is everyone experiencing these issues equally, or relatively few customers experiencing more than others?

The issue was affecting everybody but has since been resolved on Saturday.

Can we have an estimate on when these issue are going to be resolved? It seems like the lines in Sunninghill area are more down than up these last few weeks. What is going on?

Last night again for almost 4 hours.
 
Hows things on the greencom network now? Saw a lot of issues on this thread in March and April?
 
Since the upgrade I am going nicely. International still not at max speed but streaming netflix at 1080 no issues, while the wife is on instagram so happy enough

Why is Greencom so expensive compared to other providers on MetroFibre

If you look at the 10Mbps package

Greencom R684 a month and installation of R1710
Cool ideas R649 and installation R500
FireStream R579 installation R570

Seems like not only monthly they are more than others but their installation is way more expensive.

You can request a usage report from me [email protected] , we do not issue as standard as all Greencom accounts are uncapped , unlimited so very few users request them.
 
Greecom - who did your trenching in Douglasdale? The quality of work that was done there has been beyond dismal. My front garden has been utterly destroyed. I have to bring in a company and pay quite a tidy little sum to fix your mess. My grass is completely dead and the sand that was put back is not even level. On top of that, your company did not even bother to notify anyone in the neighbourhood about the work being done.

And the fibre in the ground is not yours, no? It's Metrofibre, correct? I suggest you speak to your MD and team internally and get your **** sorted out. I know of a few companies that outshine your work ten fold.

Feeling a bit frustrated this weekend. My fibre is down and I have no real way to get hold of support as the tel is only in office hours. I saw some work guys with what looked like fibre cable in 2 different places along the road in Sunninghill. Are they doing maintenance? Is this why its down?

I'm with Firestream and didn't have any issues this weekend. :D
 
I'm with Greencom and didn't have any issues this weekend either.

That's not to say that I'm a fan of Greencom, though. Their pricing leaves much to be desired.
