without the regions assistance, american forces would not last that long in Iraq.

dude, if the region says there is no problem in zim, then there is nothing the US can do.
What exactly do you want them to do anyhow? mugabe is not threatening world peace, he has no atomic bombs, he is not a threat to the USA, he is not bombing USA targets, he is not killing American civillians so why do you insist the Americans do anything?
Zim is a Southern African issue and our leaders should be involved and they are not and you keep on harping that the Americans arn't here.
Why don't you ask why SA is not helping Zim, or better still, why the UN hasn't passed resolutions and sent UN peacekeepers or a UN sanctioned force.....?

No, not military, read the post, logistically.
If we deny the USA use of our ports, rail system, roads, airspace, then they can not maintain a military force - hey maybe they should also just invade us at the same time.

Once again you are trying to put everyone on a specific side. If you are going to do that, then yeah, you are going to see the majority side with the US more than likely. Its called propoganda and it works. Also the terrorist videos don't help their cause. Only makes them look like animals.

The USA has been training the Botwana troops and providing assistance for many years.
Probably one of the reasons, that they're one of the more peaceful, and prosperous countries in Africa.
