So I managed to lightly cook the one side of my hand... I held it under cold water for about 10-15min, but not too sure what to do now.

Any advice? The only stuff I have that might help is germolene?

Explain "lightly cooked".

I'd start with something containing a load of vit E and maybe some aloe vera {sp?}- or alternatively a hospital emergency room...depending on your idea of "lightly cooked".

It was on the warm plate for less than a second.. Finger is a little white, looks like blisters forming.

And then you find 1 site out of 10 with real info and the rest tell you you're gonna die :p
nah bru. No worries. You're not going to die & you don't need any topical cream either. Give it a week and the hand will fall off on its own. Problem solved.

Just use a hanky in cold water. Wrap around burn. Use a fan to blow cold air on. Soak hanky again when it gets dry. Take some mypaids or Meds with anti inflammatory and Paracetamol. And fall asleep.

Doesn't look like the hot plate was on. You should be fine...:p

Love the pic though. Just enough detail to 3-d print your fingerprints for my future heists...

use butter to soothe pain. Use vicks, yes vicks rub. Works wonders on burn wounds

For future reference go to your nearest pharmacy and buy a couple of burn shield packs. They are EXTREMELY effective for treating burns. Every house should have them.

haha I took the photo after my hand was in cold running water for 15min :p And it didn't exactly feel like the plate wasn't on, it was burning like crazy!

@ fingerprints, have fun I don't have a big bank account you can misuse :p
