If you give the phone/brand a chance, I think most people will agree that it is excellent value. You just need to add about R300 for customs on top of that price. I mean it is using the new Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and it goes on.

Otherwise you can get the other great alternative which is the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite which is part of the Android One program, this one is dual sim with a micro SD slot!

I ordered from gearbest with aramex shipping recently and they requested the order invoice. The duty was much more than the previous time i ordered (around 300). Is this a once off thing or have aramex changed their process and fees?

How much was it the previous time? Import duties also increased in April.

Ordered a item from makro last week... 24/07 (item was "online exclusive", otherwise i would have gone to the store to get it)

Ad said delivery with in 2 - 5 working days.

Today i get a message stating that there is no stock and that they cant fulfill the order....

What are my rights and course of action?
