Had some great service from them in the past just the one incident and at least the refund was done in 2 days. Only thing that annoyed me was the product was reloaded at the correct price but they kept telling me they don't have stock, why not just admit the pricing mistake instead of clearly lying?

Was pointing out that maybe they weren't that well known. I've never seen them mentioned before and considering even well known stores can be difficult to work with a lesser known store might offer even worse service.

But thankfully others have verified that they are indeed legit.

I’ve used zeek plenty times. Great service etc, but I do find their prices high.

He has a Netgear modem that came with the telkom package many years ago. I think it's a N300 or something like that.

Range is excellent, and it doesn't break the bank. Was consistently getting my full 20Mb line speed anywhere in the house.

Haven't tested it again since the 40Mb upgrade though.

Also comes with a USB extension cable so you can position it nicely or just stick it to a wall.

Thanks. This looks like a good option. They are getting 20mb fibre soon. So speed shouldn't be an issue

Frankly I would go for an AC dual band adapter, as like you said he will be upgrading and the new modem can most likely support that.

Not sure because the router is pretty close, furtherest I've used it from the router is probably 5M but I've had good experience with Tplink WiFi products, I'd definitely pay the extra over Tenda.

It was R2895 at zeekonline but I ended up buying that one.

Google home max at R7k, was keen to get another one but overkill. If they drop again to R5k at some point I will get another though, but have heard good things about nest audio.
