Guys, I haven't had a tablet in years, I'm so out of the loop.

I need a 10 inch tablet for work asap. Just enough for word processing, teams etc. and to handle 720p streaming without grinding to a halt.

Anyone remember seeing any deals please?

Look at the Teclast range at BangGood. They are fantastic value for money compared to the junk sold locally.

Look at the Teclast range at BangGood. They are fantastic value for money compared to the junk sold locally.

Netflix is 480p and Showmax works fine and seems to be 720p. Not touching DStv Now with a 10 foot bage pole thanks and not going to pay double or triple the price for full hd/4k Netflix.

That's interesting. Does that mean these Dixon devices are Google Play certified? Or is that not a requirement for Netflix anymore?

That is correct for netflix android app, got nothing to do with google certification and whether dstv now android app would run.
Using the dstv now and showmax kodi addons one can also do 1080p as long as you have widevine L3.

You can check google certification by opening google play store, menu button --> settings, then scroll down to bottom, it will show certified or not.
