2nd problem: HD 1366 x 768 - you REALLY want Full HD 1080p, especially for Office and browsing.

Even if you did dock to a big screen, the resolution would match the screen you're docked to, not the laptops.

depends on the screen, dock, gfx res support and the users settings But sure, the default would change to the usual 24" 1080p most use rendering their 1080p/4k laptop screen still useless for some as its too small

But as mentioned, not everyone and their tannie has a screen that hooks up to a laptop

True, my wife ran 150% scaling on her 1080p 13" laptop for a time, until she realised just how much more real estate she has on photoshop in 100% scaling.

Some websites, like Nedbank's old internet banking site, didn't work 100% at 1366. Excel, like photoshop really likes 1080p.

It’s not the fastest processor but even when I set it up for him I was mightily impressed.

Don’t get the 11.6 inch, I’m referring to the 14 inch as the $50 price difference gets you so much more. Was delivered in 5 days as I pod the extra 10$ for the DHL shipping. Total was R4900 to my door

Edit, yes it has 64GB of MMC, but there is an SSD card and no harm in using an external HDD when necessary.

Scaling on Win 10 works great, only really old apps that haven't been updated for eons look a little sketchy. I use a 4K monitor at something like 150% scaling if I recall correctly, it may be 120% but whatever it is it's fine and I'm particular about how things look.

Generally still a good indication if there is stock, though of course unless there is some hidden away.
