Been using my C1 48" every single day for the last 2.5 years (give or take).

Zero burn in. I use it for software dev so there is a lot of static stuff on the screen, but no burn in so far.

I wouldn't go LED, burn in is a real thing. I wouldn't go CRT burn in is a real thing, I wouldn't go plasma burn in is a real thing. You could try projection?

My initial adjustment was tough since I upgraded from a 27". After about a week or so you don't notice how big it is anymore, but I use the WHOLE screen and I won't be able to go back to a smaller screen for work.

A 42" would probably have been a better practical solution, but when I bought there wasn't any 42" options in OLED. Also, the 48" was cheaper than a "gaming" monitor and also outperforms them.

It comes down to research(seeing what can be done to prevent issues and extend longevity) and picking where you are willing to compromise in that regard..

As far as I can see it’s the full subscription and hence why if you don’t cancel after the first year it renews at the full price
