The WD Blue 2TB was R4999 yesterday @evetech. Did not post it cause know most people dont like evetech. Personally never had any problem with returns though.

Last I heard OCZ was being bought out by Toshiba, IIRC but that was ages ago.

I still have mine from 2011, pulled it out my media PC last week after I installed an m.2 drive into it instead

The only Ssd that died on me was a Mushkin. Also almost all my Mushkin Ram modules are dead.

Wish RAM prices would fall like SDD prices. The same RAM I bought almost 2 years ago is now 20% more expensive.

My old / original OCZ Agility drive also made old legs, but in the last 3 years I've seen a number of dead OCZ & Crucial drives and asking some suppliers they said they've had similar mileage - while other brand SSDs I haven't had any failures, yet..

That's pretty disturbing. I guess the manufacturer warranty is also in a way indicative of their trust in their own products.

My Samsung 850 Evo that I purchased in July 2017 still shows 100% health, however the circa 2016 SK Hynix SC308 in my work laptop with the same amount of writes (give or take a few dozen GB) as the Samsung reports back 30% life remaining
