The leaflet on the link at Raru indicates the HDDs are not included, so max capacity is 8TB...
Interested to see how this turns out.The leaflet on the link at Raru indicates the HDDs are not included, so max capacity is 8TB...
It's Chinese English.. Storage drives installed probably means internal drives and total installed storage probably refers to the maximum amount of storage supported..Interested to see how this turns out.![]()
I want to get a SSD at some point in the next couple months. Anything decent to go for these days?
I've been out of the loop and haven't followed PC hardware progression for several years. The last time I changed anything in my PC was when I bought a GTX 970 4 years ago which is still fine for gaming. Just need a SSD as some games have lots of load screens which takes ages to load (Path of Exile specifically)
One could only hope. Wouldn't mind a 1tb for R1KOr you can wait a little longer and perhaps they'll fall even more.

Until a factory burns down. Like what happened years ago with RAMWith tech you can always wait longer and prices will drop. You have to make a decision at some time though especially if you need something as a necessity and not a luxury. That said some price drops does not happen gradually but more like "suddenly" like ssd prices over the last few months. Usually after such "sudden" drops the price "evens" out more or less which is what I think has happened with ssd pricing. I could be wrong though.
I cannot see us paying 1K for a 1TB SSD in the short term, so like the OP mentions he wants to buy "in the next couple of months" - I don't see major price changes.
