The 5600X is a awesome cpu got it on launch (my 3470 i5 was dying)
7000 series coming soon as well which will support DDR5 although ill say this DDR5 is hectic fast but that price tag.

Yet to see the new Ryzen chips data atm.

yeah id take this over the 5600G anyday just cause of the pcie support
not bad looks like early april (cant say ive seen info from suppliers yet)
only the 5650G and 5750G (Pricing doesnt look great for a tray but still coming)

Yeah, as with the 3000 series, the 5600 and 5700X seem to be priced much better with very little performance difference vs the 5600X and 5800X, even after the adjusted prices.
I'm very curious about the 5800X3D and whether it can take back the gaming crown from Intel.

You'll see nonexistent vs huge performance increases between the SKUs depending on the application.
We've sometimes seen more than a 60% increase in performance on some workloads when comparing a 16 Core 73F3 & a 16 Core with V-Cache
Getting a cache hit from an app VASTLY improves its performance.

Lucky fish! Although, maybe it's for the best. Mine was sort of an impulse buy. I already have a Mikrotik, it would have been nice to have one to play with as a spare.

At the risk of a thread hijack, what are you using yours for?

Also got it as an impulse buy. Took 2 weeks for them to ship it and in that time decided I'm going to use it to create a VLAN for my problematic IoT devices.

Still waiting for mine, delivery of which has been re-scheduled to next week.

Something fishy going on here: methinks MikroTik are getting a bit steamed.

Checked my order - still scheduled for delivery, though from Elite Shopper, which I mentioned (in a previous post) as an [unnamed] third-party supplier who offered ex-stock delivery. for an additional R20.

Problem is Elite no longer appear to be advertising MikroTiks on TAL.

In short, WTF ??

When I placed the order it was for the supplier quoted as MikroTik and the price at R20 below the third-party (i.e. Elite) pricing.

One wonders if MikroTik tried to match the pricing of a parallel (grey) import or similar (e.g. a local supplier closing down), then decided WTF and withdrew their pricing. ?

With regards to the Mikrotik HAP - I think someone made a boo-boo with regards to the pricing/model number.
I can only assume someone got the HAP AC mixed up with the HAP LITE , as they were selling the AC at Lite pricing.

Either way, I got two brand new, stupid-cheap HAP ac2 devices that must have fell off the back of a lorry somewhere.

Gave TAL a call yesterday to check if the delay on my delivery was as a result of the MikroTik. According to TAL support it was due to another item on the order, so I should be getting my MikroTik within the week.
