Yeah, I do. At R2.5k it's maybe a bit steep, investment vs return on performance (although I have NO regrets), but at R1.6k inc vat it's a no brainer.

What made you go for the vertex over the agility version..? I see very little difference between the two other than price..?

Insufficient research.

I think the read and write rates are slightly higher on the Vertex, that was my primary and possibly only reason...

Ja that was the only difference I could see as well. Thanks will look into this much more carefully.

Vertex = Syncronous flash
Agility = Asyncronous

Syncronous is up to 60% faster. These days the price difference is so small that one should just go for Vertex/syncronous...

Only thing is that voids the warranty, no biggy though unless you get a bad batch!
