hey guys. im looking for a 2.5" enclosure for a 1tb portable hard drive. the 1 i found at matrix didnt work coz the enclosure needs to be 12.5mm and the 1 they have for R129.00 is 9.5mm thick. Can someone please help. thanks in advance guys.

Cool, should be a nice upgrade! Just make sure the firmware is updated to the latest, which I think is v2.15, before you re-install


Oh and this looks like a good price for a 2700k from wootware R3199 less than R100 more than a 2600k

Got my drive today. Yous say I should upgrade the firmware? Is it critical. Do I just plug it in as a slave drive and do it that way?

It should be up-to-date, I'd check and do it just in case, it won't take long! Yup just plug it in, keep your boot drive as what it was, you can update the firmware as long as it's not being used as the boot drive.

I phoned and asked them as i was also thinking of it, they classify it as an e-reader and not as a tablet :wtf: which is splitting hairs. But the margins on the kindles like the apple products is probably crap.

just got the weekly hifi corp specials here in cpt.

I got myself a 3rd monitor through Esquire today, Samsung SyncMaster SA300 for R2002.00 including delivery!!!

What irked me a bit was I ordered and paid for the unit yesterday morning but didn't receive any email confirmation either acknowledging the order or payment or delivery date.

3pm this afternoon there's frantic ringing of the door bell and it's Esquire with the monitor. Must say, pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

It's the 1s time I'm using their online ordering system and although their a few kinks the over all experience was a good one!

Delivery guy was a character too. :p
