I bought one from China. Works well. My s5 fits no problem with about 5 or 6mm to spare.

How does it solve the button problem? Is there a button on the unit, a remote perhaps or do you need to tap play before you put it on?

No buttons. Mine came with a wireless mouse/keyboard which is handy for volume etc. whilst watching movies, But navigating the home screen on its side whilst wearing the headset is tricky.

Most of the VR apps like 'within' are easy to use once the app is open because they were designed with VR in mind.

For normal 3d movies, I just push play before I put it on for simplicity. Then I just use the wireless remote for volume as required.

One thing worth noting is that your nose presses against the hard plastic when you have it on. The bridge of my nose gets sore if i wear it too tight.

It was R250.
They also sell a separate remote for R150

Yea, I'm looking at the R799 version

No stress. No difference between 2 as far as I can see. Both US plug and 2nd gen. Might be packaging?
So be aware that esquire one has a us plug requiring a convertor if u dont have one.
