Has anyone ordered a Laptop through Amazon?

I am looking to order a laptop through amazon, as i can get it cheaper than here in South Africa.
I am looking to get the Acer Aspire 5 so i was wondering if anyone has ordered a laptop through amazon and if acer will include a warranty for SA.

They wont hounour warranty, Dell and ASUS I think warranty is global.

Acer is served by partvserve, pretty much worse repair agent you can get.
