If that genuinely was the case you truly scored, because any clothing should attract 45% duty on top of vat.

Makro sure look like they going to lose this one.

Temu took 8 working days (counting from the day after the order was made).

Makro on day 7... with zero updates or response to my support ticket.

I wouldn't normally order from Makro online but I don't need the item immediately and they had the best price on it, so 2 - 5 days sounded reasonable. I guess lesson learned, maybe they use SAPO for a courier :laugh:
 
My 2nd parcel ordered on Friday 16/2 was cleared through Johannesburg Customs at 11am this morning.

I once tried to do a return a product to an Aliexpress seller, but they just re-sent another product and told me to keep the other stuff. I guess it is not worth the cost for them.

Can you cancel just a single item in a multiple item order?
I wanted to cancel just one item in an order but it looked like the only option was to cancel everything so I didn't give it a try.

I'm not 100% sure. I placed an order and paid. I then remembered another item I wanted to buy and used the "One-click pay - ship together" option.

I made payment for the specific item and just there after saw that it was available at a lower price. So I cancelled the new item and then purchased the cheaper option.

Maybe because it was a separate payment I was able to cancel just the one item.

I have, took 9 days to arrive. Obviously the top is too small, but I expected that so I gave it to someone else.
 
Test order arrived at Buffalo Cape Town DC this morning, exactly 7 days.

Now says:
Transit to thirdparty Express

Anyone know who does the last mile delivery in Cape Town?

I usually get my Makro orders within a day or two.

They've officially lost to Temu :laugh:

I managed to get a hold of somebody on their live chat (nobody responds to emails). They're having some issue with my order but didn't really give me any new information.

Safe to say it's the last time I'll order anything from Makro online.
