The laptop i am busy with has a dvd drive thats kapoot.I cant install windows from usb cause its bios only has a option for removable storage boot( this is not usb support booting).
I have tried using bootable usb software to no avail.
1-Tried ubcd's ubusb.exe program.Could not make it work for the laptop.
2-Tried- First, you must format the target USB drive to be bootable (using PE2USB or similar), then place the following files to the ROOT of the USB drive: ntdetect.com, ntldr, winnt.sif & the bootable ISO of your choice.
3-bartpe stuff.
Tried google but not much info on my search.
How can i create a windows image for usb flash drive that will boot when there is no bios support for it.
This question is mainly for the linux crowdcause most topics on google takes me to linux forums
