Yes, if they get it, then by Friday we will all be in utter fkn chaos, wew here we go.
I don't follow twitter, but has anyone noticed any comments from EFF and Malema on this situation?
No, the land is allocated to be purposed for settlement expansion. Why do you think they send the Red Ants in when someone decides to put up shack outside of the settlement boundary?
Just for notice, it does matter where these people came from, many incidents of this riot have involved xenophobia. It is more than mere land grabs…
He's not lying though is he. Don't know if this has anything to do with the Hermanus invasions or if its an official statement or Gardee is just giving his two cents.
Many black residential areas are today formalized & zoned residential after forceful repossession.

Foreful repossession, which areas? Is he talking of informal settlements?
I agree . Land issue is a time bomb . Needs to be managed swiftly and it will cause friction , but we need to make big strides here and get a move on
I'm not condoning land invasions in the least bit, don't get me wrong. I'm just calling bull**** on the idea that this is a result of the expropriation policy.

#Hermanus this is awkward my uber driver was one of the victims of this and I really didn't know how to react he was a bit disorientated he missed so many turns he wasn't thinking straight he was really hurting I was now scared because he seemed emotionally unstable

The community did earlier state that they are doing it by EFF demand. 4 Busses also came in the morning packed with people to support the cause. The idea that an expropriation without compensation policy may be realised has enticed land grabs. Like I said, many xenophobia attacks have taken place since the riot started, it has become more than a mere land grab. The people are also evicting the aliens…
However, all this seems to destabilise the Western Cape, politically motivated.

Yes, he's talking about informal settlements which is why he says they've been formalized.

A group of stunned Somalians say they lost over 100 small shops in overnight looting in #Zwelihle, #Hermanus. "I had to run with my wife and children while they burnt my shop, my house and turned my car over," said one man (@itchybyte)

We're told that Somalian shop owners have moved out of Zwelihle, #Hermanus due to overnight looting. One man said a gang raided his plumbing supplies shop at 3am. They went for his spaza too but he asked them to take what they wanted, "just don't burn". He lost R30k (@itchybyte)

So CR said the land issue wouldn't cause trouble and he wants to open our borders? Meanwhile, land invasions and xenophobia in progress. Talk about a politician being out of touch with the reality of his country.
