Heroic Dungeons...

After running heroics on a daily basis, I ran a normal Tol'vir last night... couple of us were over ilvl 340 (rep run), and it was wrath all over again.... zerged it in under 25min

It was really quite a change from the challenge of heroics :p

Grim Batol is a *itch!

DPS is a solid 10-14k now :)

The last boss is a bit tricky with the 2 adds. Normally I take down one and with another DPS and switch to help the other DPS if the add is at about 15%. Works well.
To be honest that is the boss I do the most in Grim Batol. Everytime a zone in while spending 30min in the que I end up at the last boss.

The most fun of the Random Dungeon Finder is when you zone in, in the middle of a boss fight. One second you are sitting by the water wearing your lucky fishing hat and having a ale. The next second you're beating a level 87 elite with your fishing pole.

PS. Thanks Synergy it seems that we've been having Tol Barad a bit more latety, I assume you've spoken the your Horde friends. ;)

That's kind of what we do with HoR normal...really a fun instance that!

I've been slacking lately. Haven't even been running normal randoms for JP. My connection just bombs for nothing and it's normally frowned upon when you dc as a tank.

I've had terrible spikes on my 3g recently :( What connection are you running?

I have mostly been doing normal level dungeons and when the tank is not doing his job properly I end up OOM well before a boss dies (playing Druid Healer).

I think I need to start doing heroics because the normal level gear is next to useless.

Just out of interest, any other Resto druids out there what rotation are you using. I am using Lifebloom as my initial heal and keeping that up as long as the tank needs it. Then Rejuvenation and regrowth for the tank and wild growth to heal the resto of the party and rejuvenation and regrowth if the DPS's take too much damage.

I am sure there is a better rotation but what are you guys using.

I did Vortex pinnicle on HC over the weekend and man, was that second boss tough!

I actually like Vortex Pinnacle. So far it's my favourite. Gives everyone a chance to CC, interrupt, silence, dodge explosions or fall of the edge. Very interesting dungeon :D

That doesn't sound right, I am not expert nor playing a drood, but I am pretty sure hots will kill your mana pool in no time.

Myself. Awesome instance if you have hunters/priests. SUCKS if you're full of melee.

I like tanking the 2nd boss and working the wind direction. It just sucks if you get an unlucky vortex or 10 throwing you off the platform.

I thoroughly enjoyed 2nd boss as a disc priest... Borrowed Time + Inner Focus + wind direction ftw

As a hunter I found it difficult to keep my dps up and dodge the vortex's

Only time I've had problems with Vortex P is when I'm either dps or healer. Personally when I tank I keep myself slowed so the boss' back is turned on the dps and healers getting the speed buff.
Some tanks have said they need the speed buff to keep aggro, bs cus on my mage I spam pyro like theres no tomorrow and I dont even register on the threat table. Finally got that stupid boss in Grim Batol down that you need to dip in the fire Karsh Steelbender or something:D

As the tank its easiest to find a spot where the tornadoes never go, cuz then the boss can stay in the same position, making it easier for dps/healer to figure where the hell they want to move. So tank take whatever slow/fast buff he gets and just tank.
