Hisense 40" K20 tv

Hi guys

Does anyone have the K20 series TV from Hisense? Esquire have one on special and I was wondering if it will be fine for basic HD movie and tv watching? If it is good enough quality I might consider using it as a PC monitor too.
 
You should check one on demo at Dion Wired or HiFi Corp if you're unsure but the HiSense is generally good.
 
Thanks guys I have ordered one. Still amazed no one on here has had personal experience with one of these
 
They are pretty good and well priced. They are an international brand and have a factory in Midrand. They are built using Samsung parts. Decent specs, great warranty & good after sales service make this a good buy with a killer pricepoint.
 
i compared them in makro , samsung was just better !

settle for 5 series 32 inch FULL HD last week , was 3k demo stock.
 
There is a Samsung rep in store , he asked me if I wanted to have a look at it , as I was going to buy 4 series .
 
TV should arrive on Monday so will post a review once I have evaluated it a bit
 
The TV looks good so far. I will compare it to my friends Samsung when I get the chance.
 
The photo actually made it look a bit worse than it is. I could hardly see any light bleed.

The one thing that might be an issue is that the TV is only 50hz. The 2 things I have watched so far look fine though

Are you sure it's 50Hz? Usually, as far as I know, TVs are always 60/120/240/480 etc. Hz, it just depends where you're from. The aforementioned range being USA & NTSC, where 50/100/200/400 etc. Hz is in line with PAL, Europe, Africa, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, you should get 60Hz when connecting a PC...
