Grats!
I pay regular visits to the clinic... only after sleeping with somebody new or just being promiscuous - was scary at first, even though i was sure i was safe. After that going again is a breeze.. just dont sleep with sleeze..
Yes definitelyDoes your blood get tested when you donate blood?
hmm interesting one, not sureAnd if they find you are infected, do they tell you?
Because i've been for a blood test before and I passed..
and since then donated blood, and they even sms me every year on my birthday thanking me

I'm not allowed to give blood. Hepatitus one thing or another aka Geelsig.
I think Geelsig is Hepatitis A. I had it once - I thought it was curable? I'm considering giving blood when the opportunity arises next.

Kudos to the otherwise hated hordie !
Glad you're all right mate! Mine turned negative after my life insurance tests as well. I'm _REALLY_ careful with it since I suffer from uber-sensitive nosebleeds. Not too keen to get the family infected when I spring a leak.
I would be curious as to the *general* response, should one of the posters admit that he tested positive.
You would be amazed at the warm heartedness of fellow forumites. I have had my PM box flooded since I posted the first thread about my brother. I don't think anyone would make it out to be that you deserve it.
You need to have seen the support I got, like I mentioned before. I would not have made it thru these 2 weeks if it wasn't for their support![]()
afaik SA is pretty much the leading country in that regard. Blood here gets tested on a scale thats not done elsewhere.Killove said:Does your blood get tested when you donate blood?
The B one is the scary one.Pitbull said:I never know if it's A or B
I'd guess pretty encouraging, esp if its not a 1 post wonder. Might take a page or 2 till everyone realizes its serious though (like with suicide threads).blunomore said:I would be curious as to the *general* response, should one of the posters admit that he tested positive.
