I was about to say their own bridge is so cheap I don’t understand why you’d want to do any of the Samsung stuff in the first place.

Feels like such a 'waste' to hook up a 16A device to a fridge.

That's not what I want to do. Read my post a few posts up.

I am very impressed with the power monitoring.

That to me is incredible. The app also keeps a history so I can see what device costs me how much in a month.

I want to check the fridge, the PCs and the router.

Make a small extension lead with a POWR2 in it, thats what I did. just move the lead to any appliance you want to monitor.

That is a silly logic.

Look at the price of the thing not it’s Amp rating.

It’s stupidly cheap.

Also a fridge uses hardly anything at all and you can’t really change it so a silly thing to measure.

Look at things that generate heat and can be avoided or altered.

Basically what I did. And it moved it around the house for a couple of days.

My 2 x fridge and 1 x deep freezer use about 200w an hr.

Not trying to be rude at all, but if you're uncertain then maybe buy a Sonoff or two and have a couple of these little leads made up for you by someone who's a bit more comfortable.

It's very simple, but at the end of the day it's still electricity - and mistakes burn down houses and worse.

Nah makes sense... So not offended at all. Just trying to understand how these things work.
