Home Connecta Flexi

How do i top up the sim without removing it from the router? can I give the shop the number of the sim to load another 5gb?
Hi there,

You can download the Cell C App and register with the Cell C number to recharge.
Alternatively, follow the link below to recharge.

Yah... The whole morning I've been getting around 3 Mbps. Very different from what I initially got... 90's, and then moved down to 30-40's, now single digits...

To be fair, those are the average speeds everyone was posting here before you came in with your 90s. They saw that and quickly rectified their mistake ‍♂️♂️

Are the home connecta Flexi bundles available on the app? I'm failing to find them.

Guys please check your Cell ID, I think MTN is kick off the Home Connecta Tariff from their tower.

I wonder if it's maybe that more people are flooding in and recreating what most of us have seen with rain.

RAIN is quite limited compared to a powerhouse like MTN.

Like I say. I get 30Mbps in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night. But somewhere in between for hours at a time, something happens and it's literally crawling at 0.5Mbps.

Yeah... I'm not comparing MTN and RAIN, but rather CELL C(coming in with these low-cost deals) and RAIN. I doubt Cell C has anywhere near the same capacity as MTN on these towers. MTN SuperSonic LTE is working great for me - same tower.

A week ago, I was averaging between 40-50mbps when I was connected to an MTN tower, these week I have noticed a new cell ID, that is why I think it's a Cell C tower

I'm using the same router, same place as before.

1st Pic and 2nd Pic... That was last week

Cellc does not own that much in Band 3 so definitely not their tower.

MTN and Vodacom are the only ones that own enough to run 20MHz in Band 3.

Try forcing band 1+3. Band 8 only has 5MHz which is very low.

Well yes the price plan is data only...
Maybe you misunderstood me. I only see the option to buy data for the plan under the "pay with card" section. What if I top up the airtime through a banking app? How would I use the app to purchase data with airtime?

You can't make calls or send SMS'ses with the plan so why would you top up with airtime?

I'm a somewhat backward prepaid vet, I top up airtime and then use a USSD menu to buy a bundle.

I bought it like that too.
Their card options are rather iffy, I can't believe they haven't added the option to buy with airtime on the app. I guess I'll interact with this iffiness.
