Lol you'll have plenty time to play with your new toy...
What I found with my projector is that a dark coloured wall will enhance your darker colours as seen in my pics and a white wall enhances your bright colours but causes your dark colours to look washed out... You need to find a balance. I haven't experimented with a grey though. Your display settings will help to compensate...
Looks amazingly clear morkhans... even MOAR jealous now....
Enjoy the new toy...
Thats pretty goodIf its not to much effort, you should bring it along if you come round on the weekend - we can compare the quality - projector to projector. I might end up selling mine
Although you'r bulbs are double the price.
I see yours weighs 3x mine![]()
Mine isn't calibrated either - first want to finish the room before messing with sound and picture. got around 70 hours on mine already.
Its not a stupid stupid price either here.. R15k from what I can see.

I used the HD20 settings I found on avsforum - not sure if its meant for all set-ups, I just thought I'd give it a go - still need to test it though.
Still feeling a bit sick - think its the new diet - so might not test it tonight even.

(I had the wrong forum).
Are there by any chance any calibration tools that can be used to calibrate my projector optimally?
It was pointed out to me this weekend that most of the Pixar DVDs have calibration tools for sound and video under the setup menu.
