Target market? Honda fans (obviously) & a well off executive in the market for a hot hatch & wants something out of the ordinary i.e. 300bhp & still FWD; outlandish styling.

I'm also a fan, I was just wondering if non fans would buy this. I also see your point. My next car will be a most probably be a Jazz but only hopefully in 10 years or so. I don't like wasting money on cars and my ford is still doing good.
 
My wife has the Jazz and I have the CRV. Both cars are excellent. You can't beat the Jazz for boot space.

My CRV is a dream to drive.
 
I so agree Honda is bit expensive I'll see how the Brio treat me, maybe my next car will be Honda HR V.

In fact it might be an indication of the exact opposite as the internet generally sees more complaints than it does compliments.

Also, sales aren't an indication of quality.

Cheap and nasty usually sells more than expensive and quality.
 
I don't know much about cars I tried to read about i vtec on the Internet, can someone in plain simple english explain to me what is I vtec and what does it do. On the Internet I read about camshaft blah blah blah I'm just lost nje.

I'm no mechanic, so this is a very simplistic explanation, but depending on the engine speed (which is the speed the engine turns and pistons move) the VTEC engines changes the timing of the valves. They don't just open and close at the same relative speed of the engine but actually stay closed for longer (relatively).

EDIT: I'll have to check my facts on the "slower" part. Sure somebody more knowledgeable can explain better.

Dont get all worked up on vtec.Most car manufacturers have the some form of vvt (variable valve timming) , they just rebrand it .Subaru has AVCS , honda has vtec etc.
