How do you keep yourself busy during lockdown?

I do what I normally do, except go out and do shopping. Online purchases are also not possible so I end up saving a bit of dosh.

I work from home, as I normally do, with a bit of distraction from my daughter. I work out in my home gym, as per usual. I just don't manage to get my 10 000 mandated Discovery steps. And last, but not least, some wine and a movie on the big screen in the evenings. Life almost as usual. Just hope my wine stash lasts...

Ah, and then, lets not forget, we get to clean house every couple of days, because we can't pay anyone to do it for us. But with all the extra time, it is a minor inconvenience.

Being retire for a couple of years, I'm pretty much used to taking it easy but spend most time on my laptop browsing, spreadsheeting, emailing, etc.

Keep myself busy? ****, i cannot even take a **** in peace.

I have +-150 users kakking themselves because their internet connection at home is too kak to carry a VPN connection, I have a 3yo and a 7mo to look after, and then I have to attend 4 ****ing zoom meetings a day.

Jissis, free time? What free time?

I'm still working, so during the week it's business as usual (I work from home as an editor) for me. It is, however, quite challenge to keep my young children entertained when we cannot take them to the park or Granny for a visit (or buy them new puzzles and books) - and hubby is starting to go a little mad with cabin fever and trying to keep the kids happy every waking hour. We at least had some unplanted veggie seeds, so the kids will be doing that soon. Also made Easter baskets with the kids so we can have an Easter egg hunt at home on Easter, complete with home-made treasure map!

I'm newly retired so much the same as before (my exercise machine is inside the house so that is not effected either). Only difference is trying to order groceries online instead of shopping once a week, and putting some time aside now to do Steam games since watching the sim racing broadcasts.

Work, mixed in with gaming and series catch-up.

How do you keep yourself busy during lockdown? Do you watch TV and stream movies, work in the garden or spend time with the family?
Workday: work work workity work (I sling code for a living, so my workday is mostly unchanged)

Weekend : gardening (hacking at green things with sharp things), netflix (start multiple series that I will probably never finish), cleaning house (2 kids do a lot of damage in 5 days), sleep (as much as 2 kids allow), entertain the kids after giving up on sleep, work on private projects.

Copious amounts of furious and violent masturbation.

years of clutter in my garage has been challenging me for the last few years, but I am now slowly getting through it all and amazed how much stuff I have that I thought I never had. Have found those sliding door wheels that have eluded me for months.

Working... and because I R gamer... all your bases are belong to us

Internet scrabble, daily long walk to supermarket, stock exchange buy and sell, watch 'judge judy' and 'whats my car worth' or NatGeo, read My Broadband and 9 other news letters. 'Spend lots of time wondering if Jake White can resurrect the Bulls', try new cooking recipes, argue about mask or no mask.

It’s a good time for reflection, introspection. I don’t feel overjoyed about anything as the mood is somber. I’m doing loads of writing and trying to map my future career moves. Reading very interesting articles and watching what Influencers are doing (still confused as to why some of them are followed). I haven’t had one moment of boredom, it’s possibly a very good time for everyone to gather themselves and take charge. If you are Netflixing the whole day, stop and use this time to re-evaluate your Path and delve into your Purpose.
Keep Safe

I have " an overseas lockdown guest" in my Guest House, so with no staff, it's business unusual. My Husband and I have divvied up the chores to keep the Guest well and healthy. Busy with marketing for future, checking linen etc for ordering when the lockdown comes to an end. Registered with all relevant Gov websites for SMME assistance for staff if the lockdown is extended beyond our capability to carry on paying them.
Definitely Netflix in the evenings!!

Oh I watched Tiger King!  , you can't make that **** up!
