Yeah dammit, and leveling up another 85 is just not for me. I can do the quests once, but not really more than that. Especially not the new content's quests. Just waaay to much to keep me from going insane. Leveling via professions is an option though but still, it is time I could rather spend on my main getting rep etc.

qft. try having enchanting and leatherworking. enchanting is easy enough to level up, got like 40 points so far and its cost me 65g or something. leatherworking on the other hand without skinning is a nightmare. normal savage leather goes at about 20g/piece on my servergot a boe blue on a dungeon run that I traded for 140 savage leathers helped a bit, but not that much :/ the boe was selling for 1k on the AH
Got 525 leather working the other day. It is a bit costly as most of the items sell way below material cost. Especially from about 507 to 510. You have to craft cloaks and on my server say sell for about 50-60g were the mats are way above that.
Another easy way to makes some easy money is leather conversion: Scraps(5) to Normal(5) to Heavy(10) to Pristine. If you keep and eye on the market prices, you could buy up cheap/under market and covert. Picking up scraps for 1.5g and converting them to heavy would cost 37.5g. Market price on my server for heavy is about 50g-60g. You need to be a skinner to convert Savage to Heavy Savage. Not sure if you need skinning to turn scraps into normal savage leather. Also buying heavy savage and on AH and using it as currency to buy Pristine could also be profatable. As far as I now anyone can do this (no profession required). Buy on AH and trade at LW recipy vendor.
Pristine sells for about 650-700g and the heavy would cost you only 50-60g x 10 (500-600g). Nice little profit for very little work.

I do Blacksmithing, i remember i made enough money to buy my Artisian Riding and Netherwing Drake. So doing BS and Mining is great for finance, but you have to know how to work it.

My advice, log on now if you can and snap up some Maelstrom Crystals or enchants that require them and save em for a couple of days, maybe weeks. You're probably looking at 2-300% returns, maybe more depending on your servers raiding guilds.

I just bought 11 for 750g each, there were 2 more for 1100g each, but 5 minutes later they gone now, and the only one on is going for 3600g!

It's pointless being a scribe now. Darkmoon cards are selling for as low as 800g each. It costs us over 2000g in herbs to make one. That excludes volatile lifes. May as well just buy your cards and make your own deck.
I've managed to make the Embers Deck for a mate, so not charging him, but my duplicates aren't selling at all. Sitting with 15+ cards that nobody wants. That's 30k down the drain.

Darkmoon cards only make gold around the time darkmoon faire is around, if you wanna make more hand in your deck and hold onto the trinket until after its done. Stones cards are rubbish. Your main cards are Waves deck (healers), Winds (Melee dps) and embers deck (caster dps). Dont sell ur cooldowns of truegold for 200g or whatever, rather buy 15 volatile lifes and get to uldam and make 16 volatile airs thats at least 300g. Mysterious cards also sell for a bit but alot of advertising is needed to get ppl to buy them. Your offhand relics should also sell well. Buying Elementium ore and prospecting it and making the fist weapon, ring and neck piece sending them to your enchanter to be disenchanted is making g atm. Heard a rumor that patch 4.06 you may be able to purchase crafting mats (chaos orbs, dream cloth, etc) from the vendor for your instance points.

Mining, skinning and farming coilfang armaments. I make a decent living.
Fishing and tailoring. Basically I fish for volatile water and fire. This can be done with zero fishing skill and its fast!
Then I use them to make pvp gear from tailoring. Been selling pretty well , approx 800g for the head piece.
Also sell the fish you catch
And I sell all BoE greens at AH and not to vendors. Helps a lot

The Alchemy stone + DE method of making gold is only good if you are on a realm with alot of raiders. where as for example a low population realm with only 1 guild raiding. its not viable as people wont use maelstorm crystals on blue gear. ( More raiders = more epics , more epics = more ppl wanting high level enchants )
