How do you make your gold?

I spend 5 minutes logging into paypal and spending $40 to buy 30K at a time. The rest of the time im out there enjoying life.

R9 for 1000g... If you farm for an hour to make 1000g you're earning as much as someone packing bags at Spar. Might be worth your while to just buy gold instead.

R272 for 30k gold sounds pretty neat'o. If WoW offered a gold bundle for R272 from their store I can guarantee almost everyone would buy. (Ok the economy would crash as well, but still)
 
Im still fairly new but I am making a decent living by simply selling thorium on the AH. There is always someone trying to control the market and all you have to do is sell your stack for less than he is. Normally the controller buys out all my auctions. You dont make as much but its less risk :)
 
Same here, it isn't even an issue of controlling the market, even when I was the only seller I wasn't seeing much interest for Dragon Flanks or Fathom Eels. So if you are on Scarshield Legion and looking for either of those look me up and I might be able to help you out at a good price.

Still trying to make real money though.

I need to feed a Leatherworking habit.
 
I've been using my daily transmute for volatile life to air, and then selling that on the ah. I'm also selling herbs on the ah, focusing on heartbloosom mostly, although gathering it can go slow.

I'm also doing the Dalaran fishing daily, which usually gives deviate fish in the bag. Making elixirs of giant growth from that and selling them on the ah.

For those that use dailies to get some gold, the LK dailies still gives the same amount of gold that they gave at 80 when you factor in the xp to gold conversion. So a level 80 daily still gives 13g23s.

Can you craft [Belt of Nefarious Whispers] ? If so, how much do you charge for the 2 Chaos Orbs? I have all the rest of the mats, but I'm not keen to pay 8k for that belt on AH.

Current trade channel pricing = 500g-1k at least on my server... all depends how successful the hc's are
 
I've noticed, you sell things much easier on a Wednesday afternoon/evening. People getting stuff before raids.

Weekends you shouldn't even bother, unless it's something popular or high in demand.
 
Someone mentioned buying enchanting vellums from the enchanting vendor and selling them on the AH.

I remember doing similar things with the Draenei moths in Exodar. Buy them for 50s and sell them for 5g.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I put [Dust of Disappearance] for 20g each on AH and all 5 sold...

People really are lazy :p

When it was Christmas time I was making gingerbread cookies for grandfather winter. took an hour to farm the ingredients and then I sold them in stacks of 5 on the AH for up to 60G each. it was awesome considering I was a lvl20 odd at the time.

Lol, have you done it a few times before? If I was going to do it then I would buy a much lower amount because 30K is quite serious.
 
30K can go a long way but there's alot of items that cost alot more than 30K so it can also go very quick. The first time i bought gold was in vanilla wow where i bought like 1k for $30, Inflation seems to rise like 400% with every expansion. :o
