With news that FNB will be revamping an additional 53 branches... how often do you actually visit your/a bank branch? Is it a regular occurrence or just once in a blue moon when your card expires or you open/close an account?

FNB send new cards out for delivery before the old one expires so can't even remember when last I was inside a bank.

Since opening a Capitec acc in 2010, I've been there 4 times. Last was 3 weeks back when PayPal debited my account with R30000 for "Casino chips" from some Mexican supplier

Got a refund in 5 days, but it was suggested the card was cancelled

Not with Capitec or so I believe. You need to go present yourself for biometric verification. Just checked. no reset option on the app

A bank is like a bad curry. You never know when the diarrhoea is gonna hit you and you have to hit the toilet. You can be there for hours. Days. Weeks. But it is an unplanned event.

I walked past my bank last week, with barely a glance. Last time I went in was 4 years ago. Gold card has a 5 year expiry, so I will have to go next year.
