Hardly ever, we have an awesome fish plaice in westville I support. Nice portions awesome quality, the guys at Shongweni market do nice chow.other than that I can't afford it and I can make better and cheaper food at home.

Used to be a time when I thought there is no way I can make a better burger than steers at home, that's not the case anymore

What sauce do you use for the burgers? Trying to find a good sauce.

Just pizza these days, once every ~2 weeks or so (might be less). Used to eat a whole pizza myself, these days 2 - 3 slices.

We never get the other junk food any more (McD, Steers, KFC, Burger King, Nandos, occasional Wimpy, occasional Chinese, garage pies were my poisons but since I stopped eating these I've lost ~ 20kg).

For family, once a month perhaps. If you include canteen work lunches perhaps 2 per week. Not the same though.

Don't really go for sauces, I like fresh ingredients rather something about crunchy lettuce fresh, tomatoe and all that which I like.

There is a cheese and butter guy at Shongweni Market that makes amazing blue cheese, that on a chicken burger is my weakness. Also enjoy SPAIS Mozambique peri peri sauce on chicken pieces or a burger.

A 500ml lamb curry and roti costs R120… and then there’s like 50g lamb in it. I can cook better and get 8x more for that money. Why are people so intent on ripping us off?

McDonald’s, on the other hand, is pretty cheap if you use the loyalty app. If I eat there it’s mostly for convenience’s sake though.

yeah some places are rip offs

like a steak , at home a good steak costs me +-R80 with chips and mushroom sauce

but i can also buy a fish and fry it at home but it wont come close to a portuguese fish and chips place

and also chicken tikkas are way better made by pakis

things like burgers and stuff i make at home

what is it with woolies chicken on a sunday

went into tygervalley woolies on sunday and there was a line of about 30 people and that was around 4pm
Guess people are too lazy to cook at that time and nothing beats that chicken

Never as I do not support these kamikazes and have seen them too many times "sampling" the goods. Providing video/photo evidence comes to naught. In any case not fond of takeaways. Prefer food at home.

Only fish and chips every few weeks. The fish-shop near us is very reasonable. We collect it from them
